AFRICAN RELIGIONS:

BAHÁ'Í:

BRAHMANISM:
This is the sum of duty: do nothing to others which if done to you, would cause you pain.

BUDDHISM:
Hurt not others with that which pains yourself.

CHRISTIANITY:
So always treat others as you would like them to treat you; that is the meaning of the law and the Prophets.

CONFUCIANISM:
Is there any one maxim which ought to be acted upon through out one’s whole life? Surely the maxim of loving kindness is such. Do not unto others what you would not they should do unto you.

HINDUISM:
One should not behave towards others in a way which is disagreeable to oneself.
(Mencius Vii.A.4)

ISLAM:
No one of you is a believer until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.

JAINISM:
One should treat all beings as he himself would be treated
(Agamas, Sutrakrtanga 1.10, 1-3)

JUDAISM:
What is hurtful to yourself do not to your fellow man. That is the whole of the Torah and the remainder is but commentary. Go learn it.

NATIVE AMERICAN RELIGIONS:
Kindness is to use one's will to guard one's speech and conduct so as to not injure anyone.
